So I found a cute, funny picture to accompany the blog post I was about to write but it was going to cost me $12. Please. I could draw the picture myself and scan it onto my computer. Take that cartoonstock.com. However, I am not going to draw the picture because I have a lot of homework but the point is, I could have.
So this news article is CRAZY. CLICK HERE!!!!
I already know. I’d be a goner.
Like they ate fish they caught and a seagull that landed in their boat. Can someone say ew? I’d never, ever ever eat a seagull. I can’t even imagine it. Those three boys are lucky, smart and brave. How terrifying it must have been to be lost at sea for 50 days.
I’d have lost my mind. First, I am scared of sharks and other water creatures. Second, I am scared of being on a boat/ship/canoe, anything that should float when you’re in it but can sink. Thirdly, I am scared of drowning.
You must think that I must never go in the water with all those fears. But I can proudly say I do go in the water (a girls gotta shower, lol). No, actually I’ve been in the ocean several times. I’ve travelled on a boat from one island to another, approximately 6 hours each trip. AND I can swim :) but I feel like I’m a weak swimmer, could be because I just learned how to swim at Hill Park’s public pool by my mom putting me in the water, swimming to her and having her move away the closer I got, the old school way.
I just can’t even imagine what those boys went through. I’m glad New Zealand got some good news, especially after those miners unfortunately didn’t make it.
Crazy stuff.
