While we all sit here in PR class, it seems there may be a different option out there for us, a better options possibly?
I just finished reading this unbelievable new story on Yahoo!.
Playing poker!!! Gambling!!! Big money!!! I like the idea of all of it. He won $8,944,310. That is outrageous. I’ve only recently started playing poker on my Blackberry, and when I when big (doesn’t happen often but I do) makes me want to start gambling online for 5$ buy ins. I’d never do it of course. It’d be a big waste of money for me to play online poker.
But honestly, he’s a college dropout who spends his time playing hockey, loving the Montreal Canadiens and playing online poker. What a life. Now what is he going to do with the rest of it. He has almost 9 million!!! He’s set for life, if he lives smart and invest well.
I also saw this on CP24 yesterday but didn’t pay much attention when it was on TV. I’m just astounded. I know people can lose tons on money gambling, especially if they get addicted but people can also win a lot. It’s definitely something to think about. Something I may spend too much time thinking about.
However, a different note. How fantastic was Michael J. Fox on The Good Wife last night. He is phenomenal, and so it the show. It just made for a great episode and I’m glad Michael still acts in spite of his condition.
