The Bachelorette in Review

Right now I am currently watching The Bachelorette. I haven’t watched it since Deanna was the bachelorette way back when and she broke Jason’s heart for the surfer or snow boarder. Whatever he was, I could have told Deanna that it was not going to work and it didn’t. Shocking… not so much.

Well now, the bachelorette is named Ashley. She’s definitely pretty, her hair in lovely, and her dress is gorgeous. She also has a ton of good looking dudes to pick from.

But for anyone else who is watching right now? Um, how big of a jerk is Bentley already? “I’m not overly attracted to her but I’m really competitive”, well I don’t know why she’d be overly attracted to you bud. Also, her friend who called her warning her about you seems to be correct. Beware Ashley!

Also, some dude already went home. He got tanked, fell asleep and then snored like a beast. It’s not even the fact that he got wasted, imagine sleeping with that snore every night? I’d get no sleep. Reason enough to send him home because tired Hope is not a happy Hope. FYI.

So it’s the first rose ceremony, exciting. There is a dude from Edmonton, pretty good looking but he’s been pretty quiet all episode. I hope he gets a rose. Once she calls names, I’ll be able to list my favourites which may actually be extensive right now because I don’t know much about them, except Bentley (loser). Here we go:

Saved: Ryan P, got first impression rose, smart move, seems like a stand up guy. Jeff, the masked man. I’m sure every guy in the room is shocked now. Looks aren’t everything gorgeous men. Oh, Constantine, I love his name too. Ben F, seems nice enough, wine maker. Lucas, not a big fan, not my type. Stephen, pretty cute, nice hair. Matt, cute. Nick, cute too, lovely smile. Chris, um nothing special. Ryan M, I haven’t seen this guy all episode. Blake, no idea who he is either. Mickey, cute too. Ben C, looks very proper, gentlemanly. West, had a very cute entrance intro. William, very cute, seems sweet. JP, unfortunately I think he’s kind of old. Ames, love his name and he’s so cute. Bentley, she’s a fool and kept him.

There are so many cute guys going home, especially my Canadian dude I wanted to see more of. I’ll date you.

Sent packing: Tim, the drunk. Anthony, heavy accent, cute though, very bitter. Rob, nothing special, over analysing things like us women do, lol.  Jon (Canadian) super cute, don’t know why he’s leaving. She must not like foreigners. Is he crying? What!? He’s crying, someone had super high, unrealistic expectations. Hello, this is The Bachelorette. Was he aware that only 3 of like 15 Bachelor/Bachelorette couples have stayed together? More dudes went home, these are just the 3 who whined to the camera after. Frank, Blake, Michael, Chris.

My Favourites: Matt, reminds me of Will Gardiner from The Good Wife, thumbs way up for that. William, seems so sweet and genuine, reminds me of Josh Lucas, A+. Ames, I’m not sure if he is the one who spoke French at the beginning but I like him, very cute, and I’m sure he’d look lovely in a chapeau. Nick’s got a gorgeous smile too, I like him.

So I’m somewhat confused. I’m pretty sure there were two Canadians and only one went home. The one I like must be there apparently. Next time I must pay better attention. I’m going try and make this a weekly thing.

Well, scenes for the upcoming season definitely do look dramatic. I hope Bentley goes home and it definitely doesn't look like he is. She think she’s in love with him and he’s making more rude comments like “Ashley doesn’t have the checklist for his future wife” and if it was bachelorette Emily “then things would be different”. Seriously bud, you’re going to have a ton of ladies not like you after this. Is that why you’ve been married and divorced at such a young age, because you’re rude, critical and arrogant. Wow, I really don’t like you.

So my Edmonton dude is named Chris, but there are two Chris’. And I think she sent mine packing and kept the other one, whom would be Chris D, which is sad because Chris D is as I said before nothing special.

So I guess that’s it for tonight. I’m kinda exctied for next week. Also, if you check out the masked man online, he has lovely blue eyes and is much cuter than I imagined him on camera. Also, I think his photo doesn’t do him justice and he is going to be very good looking once that mask is removed. But seriously bud, she’s not going to want to kiss some dude wearing a mask, so rid yourself of that thing soon, maybe episode 3 or if you win a one-on-one date.

I’m excited for this season, it’s been a while since I’ve followed a whole season of The Bachelorette or The Bachelor.
