What the… ?

I stumbled upon this webpage and I feel the need to comment on these 6 laws because they are ridiculous.

1. Need a permit to wear a mask on Halloween? Seriously Walnut Creek, California? Sounds like a waste of paper to me or you’re killing a whole lot of good costume ideas.

2. Grade 8 or younger to be able to trick or treat? What!?!?!? That’s crazy. First, what id do children that young have and carry to prove their age? And secondly, if I go to all the trouble to dress up and walk door to door, I don’t care if I’m 23, someone better be putting candy in my frickin’ pillow case.

3. Change the date to Oct 30, 6-8? Can someone warn all those trick or treaters that they are going to get egged because they are out on devil’s night and not Halloween. Leave the day be. Don’t give out candy if you don’t want, but know you’re on my ‘house to be egged’ list for next year.

4. No mask, hat, glasses or anything that conceals your identity? Wow. I wonder what costume that leaves you with. A clergyman perhaps?

5. Oh no, scratch that. In Alabama it’s illegal to impersonate a clergyman. Who comes up with this stuff? What about Whoopi in Sister Act, was that legal?

6. Silly String the heck out of Hollywood. It’s illegal to use. HAHAHA. I know what I’m packing if I ever go there.
