Here is my short commentary from tonights Video Music Awards. I tried to keep it short and sweet.
So Gaga is dressed like a dude, Joe Calderone, an alter ego she has. Is that a real cigarette? Not appreciated, Gaga. What is she doing? Seriously, this whole monologue seems like a big waste of time. I think she sounds good but not impressed at all by this performance. But I always find her choreography doesn’t suit her music. Wow, she looks like one crazed out dude though. I just hope she doesn’t fall off that piano. And she fell.
Yes he is the damn same chicken, Jonah, I feel ya.
Does ‘Til The World Ends” by Britney Spears deserves Best Pop Video? Probably not, but she’s getting honoured tonight so guess it’s obvious why she won.
So I’m pretty sure it’s JayZ and Kanye West performing. Apparently they are too cool for an introduction. They definitely could have fit one while they filmed that runway forever waiting for them to come out. Um, did someone just run on stage? I’m pretty sure.
And Miley, as per usual, your dress was hideous. Um Nicki Minaj, isn’t it just courteous to thank your fans? Note that for next time.
Pitbull’s got balls, he didn’t change his lyrics even though Lindsay Lohan is suing him. I’m sure she’s going to try and sue MTV too for for bleeping it out. She’s out of her mind. If you want money, get a paid acting job.
Thanks Chris Brown for lip syncing. I would have just enjoyed the dancing, the prop mic took away from the performance. Did your people not realize everyone would know you lip sang? And once you’re asked about it, you’re going to throw a tantrum.
Wow, it’s like you can feel the happiness pouring out of Beyonce and JayZ. Congrats to them on the pregnancy.
This tribute is great. Russell Brand, well said. Tony Bennett and Amy Winehouse’s duet was nice. Bruno Mars’ performance is perfect as usual. He always sounds great. I need to see him live.
Okay, well that’s all folks. I’m going to fall asleep watching some random movie.
