American Idol Audition

I'm not a big Idol fan anymore, that shipped sailed many years ago. To be honest I may have stopped watching after Clay Aiken lost to Ruben Studdard. Clay was robbed, robbed I tell ya and stuff like that makes you lose  viewers like myself.

Well I watched tonight as there isn’t much else on on Thursday evenings and I was pleasantly surprised. Steven Tyler is very funny and he still sounds great. Also, Jennifer Lopez is so much nicer than I thought, I don’t know if it’s because she is on camera or perhaps she really is really nice. Who really cares, it’s not like I’m ever going to find out for myself. Check out this video, at the end this girl sings Aerosmith’s I Don’t Wanna Close My Eyes.

Her story is sweet enough and she sounds great, better when she’s singing the Aerosmith song. It gives me the chills hearing them sing together and he sounded great. At the end of the episode, Steven Tyler says he believes she is going to be the winner of the competition.

I am now watched Armageddon after hearing them sing together. No matter how many times I’ve watched this and I’d have to say at least 20, it never gets old. The movie is great and I really forgot how funny it is. This cast was the perfect mix. The movie is full of wonderful actors too.

I’m going to get back to enjoying this movie. I think you all should put it on and watch it again. And if you’re watching it for the first time something is wrong with you. Nothing serious, just a little something is wrong.
