Whoa, I did not mess up my New Years resolution, settle down people (ahemVANESSAahem). I’ve newly acquired four children, give me a break. You’ll get two posts today. My first night was pretty easy, these children are quite independent. The youngest is quiet, she’ll warm up to me eventually. She did show me an assignment she completed at school. Yoho PROGRESS!!! And if you didn’t know Yoho is a word for a cheerful shout, as I learned doing the crossword with my great podmates 
Though I didn’t do much last night but watch some Family Channel with them and look for the television controller which the children lost and is still lost. I was pooped, I went to bed by 11pm. And boy, the bed I am sleeping in is comfy. So comfy. Like this bed and these pillows moulded to my body, it was crazy. I am not used to this type of comfort. Also, they did pretty much everything for themselves this morning but they are still getting used to me, I’m not difficult to live with.
Now, onto The Marilyn Denis Show. I’ve watched her show for the past 2 days which I will probably continue to do so, as she has replaced what I originally watched at 5pm, Sue Thomas F.B.Eye (how can I watch this now /A\ Channel, huh? Please let me know). I know people may think Sue Thomas is a lame show, however, I really don’t know how I feel about its replacement.
The guests are not bad. The set is pretty enough. I thought the promo commercials were great, they really made me want to watch the show, as I’m not very familiar with Marilyn Denis. But I find the show a bit lackluster. I know it promotes itself as talking with your best friend. However, I feel like I’m basically eavesdropping Marilyn talk to her best friend. The conversation doesn’t really grab me. I think its missing humour.
Also, Josh Groban had admitted that there is not pre-interview, I feel like you can tell. Tyra Banks said her show wasn’t scripted either, I feel at points you could tell. It got better as she was on air longer, and I’m sure The Marilyn Denis will too. Maybe I am not the target market. I know Marilyn has a great fan following already established, so my support or not, she’ll do fine.
However, I am going to give the show a few more tries, maybe cause’ nothing else is on at 5pm but I do feel as though the show is going to get better and grab me.

Very disappointed. I think Marilyn forgot this is Canada. What she has is just another talk show featuring American so-called Celebrities.If its going to be a talk show format let`s have some interesting Canadians of which there are many.
