Make them only to break them?
I am pretty sure I have broken all of mine. Basically they were to get my butt back in gear and go to the gym again at least 4 times a week and blog everyday. As you’ve noticed, I have not blogged everyday of 2011 and let me assure you, the gym has not been graced with my presence either.
However, I don’t feel as though I’ve broken them, yet. I am still in holiday mode. I’m not back in school or back on a routine so it’s just too hard. It’s the holidays, I’m not much for being on the computer. I’m still in awe over my Christmas gifts and the lack of snow and the World Juniors (boo). Come Monday, January the 10th, I will begin. The name to this blog will no longer be a lie, you shall receive a Daily Dose of Hope in one way or another, and the gym will feel my wrath, or I’m sure I’ll be feeling the wrath of the gym.
I’d liked to say more but I am still somewhat stunned speechless but the Canada VS Russia hockey game I watched earlier. Visentin said it best “We didn’t win silver. We lost gold.” Boy did we ever. I’m still proud of our boys. You can’t criticize because you’re not in their place. They played well for two periods and let up for the third, it was a mistake and they’ll learn. However, they played a great tournament and I love how events like these liven up Canada and bring Canadians together.
It’s a nice feeling, Canadian pride :)
