A Throwback to Lipstick Jungle

This show was seriously amazing. It' got cancelled (oh another show you can add to the list) way too early. Besides my friend Katelyn, and my two cousins in Gatineau, I don’t really know anyone else who watched this show.

Since you weren’t likely a viewer of this show I’ll tell you briefly what it’s about. It’s about 3 women who live in New York. Victory (a struggling fashion designer), Nico (a magazine editor) and Wendy (the president of a film production company). Though Victory struggles with her clothing line, I love that this show show 3 beautiful women in high powered jobs, living well, not depending on men at all.

The show depicted everything so well. The fashion and the relationships. I love Victory’s hair and everyone’s clothes. Nico’s relationship with a younger man, Wendy’s marriage falling apart and Victory’s relationship with a billionaire who is losing his money and does not know how to deal with it.

I also love how great of friends the 3 characters are. It’s how all friends should be. I could definitely be a part of that trio, I’m not sure which one I’m most like. Like I know which one I like the most but I don’t know if that is necessarily mean. I think I’m a mix of the 3, hmm, I don’t know. Now I think I’m overthinking and over-analyzing it. You’d have to ask someone else which one I am most like.

Now I want to get back to watching re-runs of this show as I finally got my seasons back from my cousin
