I don’t know this seems to be popping up everywhere. First, I feel like it’s a style not many non-celebrities are going to embrace but I also think it’s hard to pull if off right. Take a look at the photos of Leona Lewis, Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez.

Out of the three, I think Leona is doing this trend the best and I don’t think that says much I think her outfits look odd and cheap. She apparently did this style three times in one week.

I was actually going to write a “Fashion Disaster” post about this outfit but I feel like I pick on Rihanna too much. I’m just so disappointed by what she’s done in the last year or so. But how ugly is this. The crochet top, the high waisted pleated pants and the hair, oh God the red hair. Get rid of it already.

I guess Jennifer looks somewhat okay, I still don’t like the trend. And sweetie, you’ve had two children and you’re going to be 41 this year. No doubt you are still smoking, be proud but be age appropriate. You don’t want to be like Madonna who is 50 and still grinding against dancers half her age in nude colour body suits. It freaks people out. I know I hate watching her video for “4 Minutes” with Justin Timberlake; it just looks wrong in so many different ways.
However I also think I am opposed to this style because it’s freezing here in Hamilton and I can’t imagine why someone would wear this but then I remember they are in sunny California. Damn them.
