I definitely don’t understand the logistics behind this story but I’m sure many people do not know that Prime Minister Stephen Harper, the leader of the Conservatives has changed a part of government documents. Where government documents used to say “Government of Canada” which it who these different governmental departments belong to, now say “Harper Government”.
I really do not like this change. It is the Government of Canada, not your government Mr. Harper. You are the Prime Minister for the time being but as we all know this changes and these documents shouldn’t have to change every time the party in power does.
Does this give all politicians who hold a prominent position permission to change the heading of their documents. Perhaps, Bratina Hamilton next? You have been elected to represent Canada and its government, not claim it as your own.

Click the picture if you want to read the article. Apparently, doing this is okay in governmental guidelines but some people are saying this isn’t right. Now that this has been made public, I am sure that there may be much more opposition to it.
There are some very interesting opposing views to this new change in the article. Give it a read, I think you’ll find it interesting.
